» Who’s on iPhone?
Also via MacRumors: this survey of smartphone users by adMob (a company Apple tried to buy but which ended up Eaten-By-GoogleTM):
Highlights: Apple has more women, more younger people, its users download and buy more apps than ‘Droid and Palm, and its users evangelize more. Apple accounted for 40% of worldwide traffic sampled, up four percent month-over-month (!). I’m wondering if Berries are buried in the report somewhere1.
Also, the data show that Apple is using the iTouch as an entry into the platform for kids, which is reflected in that chart — the average iPod user downloads more free software. Get ‘em hooked early with iPods and Wall-E and you’ll have ‘em for life!
1: They are, sorta. They’re in the ranking charts of handset popularity by market, not discussed directly it looks like…
