Canada’s head monkey Primate has apologized for a bunch of mistakes the Church has made over the years (up to and including 1960).

The interesting part is at the end, in the apology itself, where he opines that perhaps the Church itself killed God. Depending on your frame of mind, yes, Cardinal Ouellet is apologizing to the Québécois for Existentialism.

Also included are relatively interesting ideas on religious programs in public schools and a lack of jokes about a high-up Christian being called a “Primate” — the Church supports evolution (more or less).
