Remember that result from Microecon 101 that as you decrease prices you can actually make more money by attracting more customers? Well the games industry is still figuring that out.

Valve has shown time and again: Rational analysis, tracking, and tweaking of your business model is extremely important.

I’m paying attention — I’m going to have to set prices for Samhain’s products. One idea I like: Every 25th customer gets another game for free. I wonder how expressive the iTunes Store pricing controls are?
