My letter got published! This is the first time I’ve had a letter published (despite the fact that I write one every day – just kidding). As is the way with these things, I didn’t polish it as much as I’d like because I felt I had to make a deadline for this blog. 
Awesome. One of the opening shots of the Revolution.
If the dead media are using our content they’ll take the level of polish we give them.

That’s very cool. I got excited when I actually got a (quick) response from my city councillor when I sent him an email, so I imagine getting your opinion published in the paper would be very good.
I’m sometimes tempted to write a letter to the editor, but that only seems to happen when I want to reply to something very stupid that someone else has said. I’ll sit and think about how to tear them apart and make my point, then pare that down into a short, concise paragraph. And by then I’ve lost my rage and so I don’t write the letter. I suppose there’s a lesson in there for me about reasoned thought being counter-productive.
By the way, I don’t like their editing of your “shortcuts” to “short cuts”.
