Rappers have realized that diss tracks can be directed outside of Hip Hop. Here’s Nas, the Son of God, the fifth best all-time emcee, with Sly Fox. I’m convinced the driving guitar is a sonically compressed Weezer sample:

Too bad about that skit in the middle, the woman’s a terrible actress. Presumably after smashing their PCs they go buy Macs? Oops, I mean: WE ARE THE MEDIA!!!

Which rapper has more violent lyrics (I hear the children ask)? Immortal Technique. He did the most disturbingly violent rap song I’ve ever heard. Still, he’s conscious. Here’s one of his political tracks, The 4th Branch:

And of course there’s the standard compliment of Tupac/Obama mixes online. The best juxtapose Obama saying “people can change” with Tupac soulfully saying “some things will never change”. If a good DJ ran with that one device they could landslide the election.
