Via BB, the Charles Darwin biopic Creation can’t find a US distributor because fewer than 40% of Americans believe in evolution. It’s strictly business.

Watch, see, enjoy. Get your science fix now before it’s gone forever. It certainly seems to be going out of style. :(

Seriously though: Most business people are cowards. How many times do religious groups have to shoot themselves in the foot by protesting something into popularity before BComs get it through their neaderskulls? Controversy equals sales.

Plus: It’s got Jennifer “Ass to Ass” Connelly. :)

  1. Ebert’s review suggests that it could be edited to make Charles appear ambiguous. Americans would probably pay to see a movie about doubt?
