I’ve just finished In The Loop (light spoilers).

It’s a british failure comedy in which a mid-level politician makes an offhand comment on a local radio program which ends up accidentally causing an international incident that ruins his career. In the end he and his staff are easily replaced by more qualified people.

It’s a downhill emotional roller-coaster of orgiastic Scottish rage-swearing. It’s fantastic, and so was the original show.
