Happy third Birthday to us! Our first post was just before noon, August 7, 2006. Just for fun this post will autopublish at three years to the minute.

Three years, three careers, almost nothing else is the same. The blog has been the calm center of the storm that is everything else: Amazing and unexpected.

Don’t worry though — I’ve learned the hard way that attachment is a kind of suffering-inducing desire. It could all go away in an instant, believe me: I know. The calm at the center of the storm is supposed to be the mind, but what is MPF if not a manifestation of thereof?

Anyway, by the time you read this we’ll probably be over the 1,350 posts mark. Over three years that’s a good deal more than one per day. Considering that I promised myself at least one post per week we’re playing way above the rim.
