One of the reasons that Flash is so successful is that it separates the animation direction from the interactive logic. A game would be much better implemented with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalable_Vector_Graphics" rel="nofollow">SVG</a>+<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronized_Multimedia_Integration_Language" rel="nofollow">SMIL</a>+<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ECMAScript" rel="nofollow">ECMAScript</a> than this ugly kludge.
