In conclusion, the fundamental behavior of women is socially constructed and the entire field of evolutionary psychology is modernist bullshit.

Tonight I was at a party with Taiwanese family friends who were visiting with their daughter. I was telling the mother about my background in computer science and accounting, and how I was planning on going to law school.
“Penny! Penny!” she called to her daughter, “come here! This is Jack. Get him a drink and some cookies.”
I tried to catch Penny’s eye for the obligatory, “ahh, parents” eye-roll — but she wasn’t having any of it! She just… Got me a drink and some cookies.
I sat there talking to her mother about Taiwanese matchmaking and how Western-style dating was a waste of time. Penny sat with us and participated as little as possible in the conversation aside from laughing at my jokes and broken Putonghua. She was hot too, an easy eight.
Suddenly arranged marriage makes a whole lot more goddamn sense than all this Disney bullshit. I’m telling you guys, our culture took a seriously wrong turn somewhere: Speed dating? Really?
