ยป Canopticon
I figured the new Canopticon needed its own flag, in dirty grays:

I was trying to think of something a la “Who Watches The Watchmen” — a wake up call that could be bombed across the new panoptiposters quickly. Stencils and stickers dominate deployment quickness, essential in high-surveillance environments.
I thought about minimalism, line and color, and once I started sketching it out, the Union Jack. The three-color scheme and the symbol-circle-field pattern should also have scary associations. Whimsically, it looks like driving East through Saskatchewan on the Trans-Canada at daybreak, which has a whole bunch of Canadian volk-ish associations. And it might even look like an eye.
This is version 2.0, I’m probably going to play more with the palette. The lines cut the field into a couple of rectangles, all of which should be golden-ratio chops. The leaf-lines fit to the edges of a circle nicely, also giving it shades of an upside-down, crossed out peace symbol.
I tried to have text but nothing added to the look of the thing. This symbol, Jared, is trying to be high-context in a low-context culture.
It should stencil nicely, but no one run out and start sticking yet — that’s what they want you to do. Just get some printed and pay cash.

I vote for a high contrast 2 colour palette ala V for Vendetta

Higher angle on the leaf lines is more deco too. Definite outline makes it more bold. Also lowered the horizon line.

Squared, resized, and lit the image. Here’s my new iPhone background:

That might be the sticker too. Plenty of room for stark, white paint-pen text.
For the record, here’s what was going through my head for version 3.0, specifically the guitar bit right when the camera lifts off the riot and you see the billboard, “Feelin’ 7-Up” (~2:30):
Note to self: (ur+v, tw, bot).
