My limited experiences with Teksavvy support has been very good. Within a short amount of time I get to talk to someone who actually knows what they're talking about and who has a better practical understanding of hardware and networks than I do - that's not a high bar, but it is better than my experience with any other ISP or cable/satellite TV provider.

I went to Teksavvy DSL as soon as I moved into my house, and I had an old modem that I thought would work. It turned out that my old modem wasn't compatible, but the Teksavvy phone support guy figured it out quickly and said that he could sell me one and ship it. However, he asked if I had a Canada Computers store in the area. When I answered, "yes", he told me that I could buy a refurbished compatible modem there, cheaper, and not have to go without Internet access while waiting for a modem to be shipped.

I have many packages lost by the Canada Post. They are doing a horrible job but they demand better benefit and salary? Get real! Today I just lost a package that I bought from the state. It says item had been delivered but I never received it. The guy that I was talking to wasn't even helpful and he sounds very rude. I live in a condo and we have a policy states all packages have to go through concierge which there will be a signature as to who receive it. I asked him who received my package but the guy said there was no signature. I told him if there is no signature then the concierge did not receive it. (I have talked to the concierge to check that too) He kept repeating "the sender did not request for signature" I know that. But there is no way the Canada Post driver delivered the item without the signature of the concierge. In the end he wouldn't open the investigation for me and he said it's the sender responsibility, not me. This is ridiculous! It's Canada Post's responsibility to lose so many packages!!!!!

The Electoral Boundaries Commission for Saskatchewan has actually taken measures to improve situations like the example you give with Prince George.

The City of Prince George is split in two, with each half grouped with a very large hinterland as part of large ridings. The situations with Regina and Saskatoon are even more extreme. Those cities are currently each divided into four large ridings, made up of a quadrant of the city and a very large rural area.
